All In

In 2010, i'm ALL for Him.

A couple weeks ago at College Park Church in Indianapolis the worship leader said this was his desire for this next year. He went on to say whether you call it a resolution, commitment, goal, or life change...it is a lifestyle that can Glorify God.

What does ALL in look like?

Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own, you were bought at a price. ~1 Corinthians 6:19-20

This passage has really driven me to think a lot about how my life can look radically different from a non-believer. Some of the challenges I've been praying about include being away from the 'safe zone' of a college campus. The men and women that I looked to for support and guidance are hundreds of miles away. A stable church family and campus ministry to be apart of is something that I left at K-State back in November. The blessing that I get to live now is with purpose, but it does result in me needing to be even more intentional in order to live ALL for God.

Three things that I'm focusing on for this next year to live all in are:
  • Purity of my heart, mind, thoughts, and actions

Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord with a pure heart. ~2 Timothy 2:22

  • Everywhere seek out Holy ground

Where can I go from Your spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. ~Psalm 139:7-8

  • Grow a burning, white hot passion for God alone

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and all your might. Love God with is Love. Love others. Deuteronomy 6:5

Each of us can be living for God more in our lives and relationships. Which areas of your life are you keeping from God?

We have to look no further than His word to be reminded of how great His love is. How can we live more for God, reflecting this love?

When we see the cross for what the cross offers... how can we not long to live All in?
